  • Metocean data collection and analysis
  • Numerical modelling of waves, winds, currents, sediment transport
    and dispersion
  • Forecasting and hindcasting of metocean conditions for offshore operations and design studies with live forecasts or recent projects covering Austalasia, Africa, Persian Gulf, South and East Asia and South America
  • Ship & Tow Route Forecasts and project weather downtime sensitivity anaylses of metocean conditions for offshore operations and design studies
  • emergency response management solutions including 24hour support for live oil spill/ drift at sea modelling and on-line hazard warning interface (ie storm surge warnings), the latter free for local authorities within New Zealand



    MSL have completed projects involving the whole range of environments and industries. MSL's integrated national meteo system means we are active on the land as well as the sea offering equivalent services from mountain forecasts to a rnage of services for the renewables energy sector.
